Our Team of Leaders

FBR’s senior officers are: Eric F. Billings, who serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of  both FBR Group and FBR Capital Markets;  J. Rock Tonkel, Jr., who is President and Chief Operating Officer of FBR Group; William J. Ginivan, who is Executive Vice President and General Counsel; and Kurt R. Harrington, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Senior managers are able to draw upon the knowledge, talents and experience of a diverse and accomplished Board of Directors. FBR’s directors have served as presidents, chief executive officers and chairmen of public, private and non-profit companies. They have experience in public service, corporate and securities law, accounting, real estate, venture capital and financial services. Some board members have served at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and held management roles at the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (NASD) and the NASDAQ Stock Market.
